Nice bunch of folks. Isn't that nice? Thank you very much. I really do appreciate it. Had a lovely time. Okay. As I said, that was the only good thing I had all weekend long. We got 1.46 inches of rain, almost an inch and a half of rain almost everywhere in the state. Got picked up at least an inch of rain and This marks about the fifth weekend in a row that we've had rain. This week, coming up, looks very, very promising. Some nice weather ahead. Forget about yesterday, and forget about today for that matter. Let's take a look at our current conditions under cloudy skies, continuing 48 degrees right now. Our high was 51. The normal high on this date is 68 degrees. Humidity, 52%. The winds out of the northwest 16. We've had some gusts to about 20 to 25. The barometer 29.50 it is rising. Good sign. The air quality 30 this afternoon. That was a good category. The tides tomorrow. Sunrise 615 sets tonight. This is also a good side. 754. We've double our rainfall for April already. Over six inches of rain for this month of April. We're not even finished yet. The tulips in Sherwood Gardens and many places are just about ready to. Burst out in full bloom. They got all the rain they ever need, that's for sure, and the cherry trees are in nice shape, and looks like this week things are gonna really, really come out, especially the grass. Expect plenty of sunshine for the remainder of this week. Just a slight chance of a shower late Thursday or Friday. Let's take a look at our radar locally. A lot of stuff showing. Most of this is some very light drizzle. Not much of it is actually touching the ground. Most it in the clouds aloft, not yet touching the ground and probably won't. Although here in Baltimore, we just might pick up a sprinklers, a brief shower between now and about 9 o'clock tonight. And then this stuff moves out. It is moving. Let's take a look at the satellite, and I'll show you where it's moving to. The big storm over New England actually caused eight inches of snow over parts of the Poconos of eastern Pennsylvania. As we got the rain, they got some snow as the colder air started to come in. This whole system is moving out. Now, looking west, south and west of us, just marvelous. Let's take another look at that. West look, and you can see just how clear things are from about Roanoke, Virginia All the way down to Florida and from the Atlantic coast in around Norfolk all the way out to the west Not a cloud in sight looks very very promising and warming up quite a bit this warmer that will start to move in tomorrow We'll see about mid-60s and then Wednesday Somewhere in Maryland that magical 80 degrees may be touched here in Baltimore. I'm calling for about 77-78 degrees on Wednesday. Also warm for Thursday, but late Thursday this frontal system with some slightly colder air moving to the northern Plains tomorrow. This frontal system will cross the region, may give us a brief shower or a thunder shower Thursday night or Friday. And then behind that slightly cooler weather for the weekend. Right now it looks like it'll stay rather dry throughout the next five or six days, with the exception of maybe a brief shower early Friday around the state right now. Clouds in our region down to the south, things are cleared out. 49 in Martinsburg, 50 in DC, 59 in Norfolk, 44 in Harrisburg, 52 out in Morgantown, Eastern Shore, 50 at Salisbury, 43 only at Wilmington. Winds tomorrow, still kind of gusty, 15 to about 20 out of the Northwest. Here's our forecast for tonight. Skies will clear out. And as they do, along with the breeze, it'll get chillier, 37 to 43 degrees. It's normal, low on this date. Is 47 degrees. Tomorrow, sunny, breezy and milder, 66 down to a normal 47. So tomorrow is going to be very close to normal day for this time in April, and looking for mid to upper 70s on Wednesday, that'll be real.
text/plain
https://marmia.aviaryplatform.com/collections/948/collection_resources/149173/file/273798#t=1092.35,1334.07
https://marmia.aviaryplatform.com/collections/948/collection_resources/149173/file/273798/transcript/80230/annotation/57
Speaker 5: Real pleasant.
