The injured were sent to local hospitals. Security has been increased at the Inner Harbor after a teenager was shot there this weekend. City police say around 1030 Saturday night, 17 year old Michael Parker was shot in the right thigh and left knee after a dispute with another team. Police will not say how long the beefed up security will be in place at the harbor, but most consider Saturday's shooting an isolated event and not any sort of trend. Funeral services will be held tomorrow for one of the most popular politicians in Baltimore City history. Former city Councilman Dominic Petro died Friday night after a long illness. The Petro was first elected to the city council in November of 1966 and served until the last election. Two years ago. During that time, he was one of the most colorful of Baltimore's public servants. DiPietro was dedicated to serving his own Highland town community, where he lived for nearly 85 years. He is survived by his wife, Frances, two brothers and a sister. Dominic Petro was 89. It was a record setting weekend for Ephram 94. The final count is not in yet, but organizers say this year's celebration of African-American culture is sure to be one of the biggest ever. Police say 17 year old Michael Parker was shot once in the leg on Saturday night. An argument stemming from last year. Last year's school session apparently provoked the shooting. So far, police have not arrested a suspect in connection with it, though. Parker was treated and released at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Security has been stepped up at the Inner Harbor because of the shooting. Three people are recovering from injuries after a riot at a state run juvenile center in western Maryland. Allegheny County sheriff's deputies say around 9:00 last night they were called to Maple Run Youth Center in Cumberland to control a fight there. Police say they arrested six juveniles for two for participating in that disturbance. One of the juveniles has been charged as an adult. Three of the center staff members were injured during the scuffle. An investigation continues into the crash of a small plane this weekend in and around the county. The survivors of the crash, William and Theresa Hanson, are both improving. They were hurt Saturday when their four seater Piper Arrow stalled after takeoff from Lae Airport and crash landed in some trees. At first, investigators thought a fuel leak led to the crash, but it turns out the leak started after the plane went down. So the search for the cause of the crash continues. But so far, neither the players or owners are asking for anyone's help. One is charged as an adult. The disturbance was handled by Maryland state police and deputies from the the I'm sorry, the Allegheny County Sheriff's office. The injured were sent to local hospitals out there. Security has been increased at the inner harbor after a teenager was shot there this weekend. City police say around 1030 Saturday night, 17 year old Michael Parker was shot in the right thigh and left knee by another teen. Police say they don't know how long the bit of security will be in place at the harbor. Most considers early shooting an isolated event between the two teens and not any sort of harbor train. It was a record setting weekend for Afram 94. The final count is not yet in, but organizers say this year's celebration of African-American culture is sure to be one of the biggest ever.
