Thank you. Well past 534, here's what's happening, Newswise this morning. Baltimore City firefighters were busy overnight battling three blazes in the span of about three hours. The first by a fire broke out at midnight in a three story rowhouse in the 1400 block of Mom Street in west Baltimore. It quickly went to two alarms. It was brought under control in about 30 minutes. No one was hurt, but investigators say it was deliberately set. And about two hours later, a fire broke out in a home in the 1900 block of West Lexington Street. Two adults and a baby were hurt. All are hospitalized this morning. Investigators say the cause of the fire, though, was accidental. And about 30 minutes later, there was yet another fire in a house on Gorsuch Avenue. No one was hurt. And so far. There is no word on the cause of that blaze. The man accused of killing his wife yesterday in Parkville is in custody this morning. 50 year old David Laundy surrendered to the two Bomber County police last night. Lauren Dean has been the target or had been the target. An all day manhunt since police found his wife darling dead in the family's Parkville home yesterday morning. Police say she was shot and killed. The couple's four year old daughter told police she saw her father shoot her mother. David Laundy has been denied bail and is being held at the Townsend Detention Center. Earlier this summer, Father Blackwell was accused of inappropriately touching two teenage parishioners. Yesterday, the city state's attorney, Stuart Simms, decided not to file charges. Sims says there's not enough evidence or information to justify a further investigation of Father Blackwell. Parishioners at his church are overjoyed to hear the news. Some say they plan a celebration once the father is allowed to return to Saint Edwards. But it will be up to the Catholic archdiocese to decide if and when Father Blackwell will return to that church. In today's other news, Russian President Boris Yeltsin is flexing his muscles in the stand off with hard line lawmakers who have refused to clear out of the parliament building in Moscow. Yeltsin has called in supporting the paratroopers who have been sent in to reinforce the police surrounding the building. The special red beret paratroopers armed with machine guns took up positions around the building last night. They have bolster the ranks of riot police who have been brought in earlier despite the show of force and despite a police deadline to leave sometime early today, the lawmakers are still staying put. So far, aides to Yeltsin deny the building will be attacked if they do not come out. Turning to sports. Big Ben does it again. The Parkville man is being held without bond for the shooting death of his wife, 50 year old David Law, and he turned himself into police, Baltimore County police last night. Three fires in three hours kept Baltimore City firefighters running throughout last night. The first was a tool armor in a house in the 1400 block of Mount Street in west Baltimore. It broke out around midnight. Firefighters quickly called out a second alarm. No one was hurt. Investigators say the fire was deliberately set. A couple of hours later, flames were seen in a house in the 1900 block of West Lexington Street. A baby and two adults were injured in the fire and all are still hospitalized. Authorities say this place was accidental. Finally, firefighters were called to a house on Gorsuch Avenue for yet another fire. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. And just one day after a judge signed an execution order for convicted killer John Panoz, an appeal has been filed on his behalf. On Monday, after hearing he was to die in the gas chamber in November, that I was told a judge he did not want to appeal. But yesterday, defense attorneys sent an appeal on his behalf to the Garrett County court clerk anyway. Then he was convicted of killing teenagers Melanie Pistorius and Billy Wayne Brunner last year. The state says it will protest any appeal filed on Danielson's behalf. And it is believed the matter could be settled before the scheduled November execution date. About two hours later, a blaze broke out in a home in the 1900 block of West Lexington Street. Two adults and a baby were hurt. All are hospitalized yet this morning. Investigators say the cause of this fire accidental. And about 30 minutes later, there was yet another fire in a house on Gorsuch Avenue. No one was hurt in it. The cause unknown. The man accused of killing his wife yesterday in Parkville is in custody this morning. 50 year old David Llorente turned himself in to Baltimore County police last night. Learning had been the target.
