We had a fairly decent amount of sunshine and we're getting some of these cumulus clouds bubbling out to the west. I'm going to look at a line of showers on radar in just a second. So if you got anything going outside, a little Monday night barbecue, whatever, be sure you're done and in the house by about nine o 'clock. Let's go ahead and take a look at our current conditions. Right now on T .V. Hill, it's somewhat overcast. It is very humid, still warm outside. Now on the hill, 83 degrees, 81 out at the airport. Winds barely blowing from the south at nine. humidity seventy percent barometer is thirty eleven it is falling here you tied sunsets tonight at seven forty seven on the bay water temperature now seventy five degrees winds are south ten to fifteen tomorrow the swing around from the west at ten to fifteen there are no advisories on the bay yet however with a lot of showers out to the west some possible thundershower development some advisories could be posted by the national weather service possibly within the next few hours here's your state map now temperatures warm central and east. But you look out to the west and we're looking at a lot of 70's 76 out in Frederick, 75 in Oakland, 75 up near Pittsburgh. Here's where the shower activity is confined. Now, noticeable drop in temperatures behind the showers. Let's take a look at our local radar sky. I live right now. Here's this band that we about I would say about an hour, hour and 15 minutes ago, we started seeing these little things forming and now they become a pretty hefty line moving very, very slowly. It could take three hours for these to move if they do hold together and we think they will into the baltimore area so if you do anything outside try to cut the grass whatever you're safe till about nine o 'clock let's go ahead take a look at our national radar summary and basically this is a part of a line it's actually stretching all up and down the east coast it's definitely associated with a cold front sitting just out to the west now weekend uh... was pretty much fell together pretty much we thought it would friday in other words we had a decent day saturday then we had a warm front wash over the area sunday yesterday gave us a lot of rain they had a lot of rain on the eastern shore. Now we're into this. Very muggy, heavy air mass and we got this cold front sitting out to the west and there's definitely some interaction between the two air masses. Here's our cloud cover map. It's gonna take this thing almost 24 hours to get through our area this time tomorrow night. It will just be sitting to the east of baltimore. As a matter of fact, go ahead and put the map in motion. You can see the very slow progress it's making almost being blocked by the same high that's giving us this warm, humid conditions right now. And these humid conditions more than likely will stay with us throughout the week because This really isn't a cold front. It's more of a trough. In other words, once it passes, you're not going to see temperatures drop. You're not really going to see humidity drop. It's going to take a while for it to get out of our hair. Expect clearing not to occur until about Wednesday when high pressure builds in from the near Midwest. We may have another frontal passage Wednesday night, but all the moisture is going out to sea with the passage of this front, and you'll barely notice it. So once we get through Wednesday, things should turn out pretty good for the week here in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Humid, a shower or two tonight. Chance of a thunderstorm. Some fog possibly forming late. Low 69 to 73 tomorrow is going to be a day of change. Clouds and then some sun in the afternoon. We get enough sun if there's still enough humidity in the area. Watch for a thundershower tomorrow afternoon. Look for a high of 85 degrees. We'll come back in a little while. We'll show you the week's accurate forecast.
