There are new allegations about a private meeting last month between President Clinton and Monica Lewinsky after she was subpoenaed in the Paula Jones case. Drew Levinson brings us up to date on the alleged sex scandal at the White House. After traveling to the heartland yesterday, President Clinton returned to Washington late last night and to the brewing sexual scandal surrounding his presidency. All right. On the other side of the country, a married man in Oregon met with investigators from the Office of Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr. I am personally not aware of any improper relationship, sexual or otherwise, by this president in any of the White House interns or anyone else for that matter. And on top of the star grand jury, Panetta was also served with a subpoena to testify in the Paula Jones case. But the president spent the day out of the Beltway and the allegations and the grand jury seemed far away. I want to ask you now, every single one of you to join me in supporting him and standing by his side. Now, the independent counsel is taking aim at Secret Service agents, trying to see if any of them could be possible witnesses in the alleged affair. Starr's office and Treasury officials are discussing ways that the agents could testify without breaching their code of silence. Drew Levinson, CBS News, Washington. Well, if you're one of the 40 million Americans who have to think twice before drinking a hot cup of coffee or a cold drink because your teeth are very sensitive, there's a new treatment available that could ease your pain. It's called, of all things, pain free. And it's applied in a simple procedure by a dentist during a regular office visit. A study conducted by the University of Alabama reports that this new treatment is almost completely effective in relieving this condition without extensive dental work.","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://marmia.aviaryplatform.com/collections/948/collection_resources/115828/file/219696#t=1312.87,1403.62"},{"id":"https://marmia.aviaryplatform.com/collections/948/collection_resources/115828/file/219696/transcript/62495/annotation/14","type":"Annotation","motivation":"transcribing","body":{"type":"TextualBody","value":"Now, your dentist can apply this substance to your teeth with a cotton swab. It's simply painted on the teeth, and there's no need for needles or any drilling. This is a noninvasive treatment that does not affect the gums or any existing dental work. Sensitivity can be caused by a breakdown in the enamel which exposes the root surfaces. This treatment replaces the lost enamel with a chemical sealant. Pain free works by attaching itself to the calcium and forming a bond that protects the teeth from heat, cold or acidic sensations that can cause pain. Now, since tooth sensitivity may be a symptom of other dental problems, you should clearly identify the source of the pain by having a thorough dental checkup. My teeth hurt. Think about, you know, kind of doing that for that report. Is it expensive, this treatment? Not too expensive. About $55 for the sealant. Of course, that doesn't include a diagnosis, to be sure what the cause of the pain is. You have to figure that out first before you have this. And $55 is that for all the teeth you treat them all at once would be per tooth. Per tooth. So, hey, Doctor, I'm listening. Thank you. How much can I lose? How fast? Julie fits all the characteristics of an anorexic. She's an overachiever, a three sport athlete, a perfectionist who wants to please others. The pressure to be thin is very pronounced in distance running. Like other anorexics, Julie hid her disorder. But there are warning signs. An obsession with being thin and a fear of being fat. Restricting types of amounts of food and overexercising vomiting or laxative abuse. There is a focus on body image that is associated with the actual sport, and that may be an extra stressor that precipitates the onset of the illness. By the time Julie was referred to Dr. Angela Urquhart at the Johns Hopkins, her eating disorder was like an addiction. So initially when they come in, the dietitian decides on what food they should eat and they are expected to eat or all of the food that's provided. The program also breaks the cycle of overexercising. Julie and the other patients spent 14 hours a day sitting perfectly still. It was really rough to sit for 14 hours after two weeks in the hospital. Julie was allowed to return to campus. She still sees a therapist and is weighed weekly at the hospital. Not being able to run has been hard. The other thing that's been a little hard is just to eat the amount of food that I'm required to eat on a day in, day out basis. With her metabolism, Julie needs at least 4000 calories a day to reach her goal weight even more if she starts competing again. And the good news is that 50% of anorexics will recover. Here's what's coming our direction. This storm we had yesterday way out to the east, northeast region and diminishing. There is a weak frontal boundary out to the west cause a couple of sprinkles, a few snow flurries across portions of northern Pennsylvania, New York state. Now, we have some low clouds starting to move into the western portions of our region. So there may be some clouds moving in overnight, perhaps a couple of sprinkles. And that's about all we're expecting out of that system. There will be some cooler air moving in overhead now as the cool air moves in overhead. We may have some overturn of the atmosphere and maybe some clouds forming. Maybe a sprinkle or a shower in your neighborhood, but not a great chance. Most of the activity, mostly energy with light showers well up to our north. Just a couple of bands of light showers. So overnight, maybe a sprinkling during the day tomorrow, perhaps another sprinkle to our south. Really nothing happening at all. Just a bit of a wind shift line.
