Well, Nancy, I was probably eight years old as 30 years ago. And we're playing Little League at Falstaff Little League, which was now a Cadillac dealership right off of Rice Town Road. And best of my recollection, you know, keep in mind, I probably did not know who Jayne Mansfield was. I may have heard the name, but I was eight years old. So we're playing Little League. I'm out there probably in the field doing whatever, you know, one does when they're playing Little League and all of a sudden you hear all this commotion and you see these cars pulling up and people are moving towards the cars and people are saying, stop the game, stop the game, whatever. And, you know, I don't know what's going on. So this out from one of the cars emerges this this lady with big hair and, you know, who is she? Well, she's Jayne Mansfield. Who is Jayne Mansfield. She's a movie star. Okay, great. And what are you doing in my Little League game? But there she is anyway. I get Jayne Mansfield autograph. Go back and, you know, keep playing. I still have the glove. The name has worn off somewhere. Well, unfortunately, it's kind of worn off. I wish that someone would have given me some good advice back then and say, hey, put that glove away. You know, ask him if you're worth something some time. But no one told me, so I just kept playing with it, you know, I probably kept playing with it the next few years, and I would always check to see if the name was there, but eventually just started to fade. Did you ever find out what she was doing at the ballpark? You know, I, I don't know exactly. I think she was in town. Someone connected with Falstaff, a little league knew her or something like that. You know, I even went back and looked at the article that I still have, trying to figure out just what because I asked myself the same question What was she doing there? And it doesn't really say. It just says Jayne Mansfield was there. She was overshadowed by the fact that these two little leagues were merging. Apparently, the Falstaff Little League was merging with another little league, which I didn't even know, but I don't know exactly what she was there for now. Well, she sure had a lot of publicity. There were newspaper for TV photographers there, reporters, the whole bit. You even got in the same paper. You're sure? Sure, sure. Did I still have it? Did meeting Jayne Mansfield have an impact? Like the Milford Mill Randalstown area. Moved to Pikeville and then moved to Owings Mills as a high school student. And that's where I still live.
