Let me just say this to you. I'm glad I made it in, but I'm going to tell you, without four wheel drive, there was no way I was getting out of my side street. My side street was pretty crummy, too. Okay. Now you have front wheel drive. I do. Okay. I slipped around a little bit on the slushy stuff. Okay. No big problem for you guys. I mean, we have four after you got in the car. Yeah, we dug ourselves halfway through yesterday afternoon. Another two. And that's all you can tell. But. But you got to watch yourself on the side streets or where? A side street or a major driveway. You would be going down a nice clear city street and then somebody had plowed their driveway out into the street near that little slushy spot. And you go and be very careful where you go. It went back. You didn't tell us what he was like. Kind of the school delays right now for you or waiting for Marty. Yeah. Okay, Marty, take your time. We have some school delays already. Here comes Marty. Baltimore County schools are opening two hours late. Carroll County schools two hours late in the morning. Kindergarten. Queen Anne's County schools two hours late in the morning. Kindergarten and village Early College in Green Spring Valley will open at ten this morning. All right. We're going to have a lot of delays this year. There's no question about tell you the forecast for the day. I will tell you this. General thinking is right now, you know, we're going to get to the warm up and that's going to be the ballgame forecast for the day. Very simply, here's a half and half situation. We'll go ahead and run it like this. We're dealing with a lot of fog this morning. I cannot stress that enough. You cannot even see up at the candelabra tower here on TV, all clouds and fog. Some sun. This afternoon we're going to kind of burst into some clearing. But look at that high of 56 degrees. And to more general thinking as cloudy, the sun went in cold and we're going to have a high of 40 degrees high right now. Take a look at some temps around the area. This is the big thing. I understand it is above freezing as far north as Harrisburg. And look at these temperatures down to the south, almost 50 in Richmond, 46, Salisbury, 40 in Ocean City. Eventually, all this warm air overwhelms the area. Now, of course, that is going to keep the fog rolling in. Warm air moving over the cool ground. That's a problem as far as fog goes. So not only going to be dealing with very slushy conditions, deep slush in some locations. You're also going to be dealing with fog. This going to be a really tough morning. What can you say? At least what happened yesterday isn't happening now. All right. Plant some trees in the Holy Land for me. Okay. Five days worth of AQ a little bit later on in the show features the big cool off. You'll find for the most part, the roadways are wet. And at least when we came in, the traffic was maintaining the posted limit. But as you both mentioned, the secondary streets are going to be a problem even in the downtown area. Some of the secondary streets off the beaten path are completely snow covered. You going to find a lot of slippery spots there. Interstate travel, at least towards the harbor totals like 95, 95 and the key bridge all in good shape. We don't see any problem yet. Down to the south along 95, 29 or along I-70. And the traffic appears to be clear this morning on the capital beltway, but use caution. Secondary roads are a big problem. Here's what's happening Newswise this morning. Since yesterday, snow came on Sunday, there were fewer cars on the roads, but there are a couple of major accidents, including one which shut down part of the Beltway last night. We actually happen just after 10:00 on the inner loop between Hartford and Bellaire roads around the state. Police say one car started to slide on a section of beltway leading to a six car chain reaction crash. Three people were taken to a local hospital. All were treated and released. The Beltway was reopened about two hours later. The snow also contributed to a fatal accident in which a six year old boy was killed yesterday. Police say yesterday morning a Laurel family was traveling north on Route one in Howard County when the driver lost control and spun into the southbound lanes. The car then was hit by a bread truck. Six year old Andrew Johnson was killed. His parents and sister were taken a shock drama for treatment. The driver of the red truck was treated and released from the hospital. Some churches around the area were forced to close or cancel their services yesterday because of the weather. But an Essex congregation had no real choice because their church was badly damaged in a fire. The fire investigators are still looking for the person who torched the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints on Saturday night. The fire caused an estimated $2 million in damage and angered a number of church members. This is not the first time they've tried to burn this church. How many times before? Vinegar is the flavor types are very popular these days. A cousin to wine vinegar is contain no fat and has just tiny amounts of sodium and low in calories. One tablespoon of vinegar contains roughly five calories, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. While there aren't a lot of vitamins or minerals in vinegar, there are small amounts of potassium and calcium. If you've ever bought any of those flavored vinegars, you know how expensive they can be. But you know you can make your own.
