I'm too young to have served in Vietnam, but I certainly moved me as a woman and as American and dedicated to those who left a legacy of healing and helping their fellow man. A smile is the first thing that these guys see when they come off the battlefield. There is relatively very little known of the 265,000 military women who served during the Vietnam era. But usually the nurses were rocket attacks started and you were on duty. Anywhere around, the patients are off. You ran to the ward and tried to protect them first. Especially when. I came into Leno right down to introducing pure premium gross down from Tropicana. It looks, smells and tastes much like fresh squeezed orange juice. Every sip is like biting into a fresh, juicy orange. You gross down the taste of fresh squeezed. Bob, it's official. You're still the largest volume Nissan dealer in Baltimore. That's true. We're number one. That's great, Bob. That means you sold more new songs than anybody else. Let's have a leadership sale. Hotdogs, Sodas. No, no, you don't care about that. I want to finish the model year being number one. So let's keep on doing what we've been doing and sell Nissans at invoice through September. What about Chevrolets? Let's include Jerry's, too, Bob. No dealer markup. That's right. Here. Let's get it on the air. News with Denise Cote weeknights at six. You're about to watch the second broadcast of a television newsmagazine that's committed to making a difference. It's called The Crusaders. And I'm John Bute, the executive producer. Our staff of journalists come from all across the country, men and women committed to righting wrongs, giving help, opening doors. We're also tired of too many problems and not enough hope. But the crusaders believe it doesn't have to be this way. This week on the Crusaders, once beacons of safety, they're now hazards of blue channel marker batteries. Thousands of them are lying dumped at the bottom of our nation's waterways. Are their assets poisoning our fish, Seafood and us? Who was responsible? The answer is unimaginable. But will they clean them up? It could have happened to anyone. But a drunk driver did this to Bill Hornbeck. Against extraordinary odds, Bill Hornbeck and his family battle on their insurance has run out, but not the love and support of a community that won't let them lose.","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://marmia.aviaryplatform.com/collections/948/collection_resources/136318/file/252887#t=3054.21,3188.47"},{"id":"https://marmia.aviaryplatform.com/collections/948/collection_resources/136318/file/252887/transcript/71104/annotation/29","type":"Annotation","motivation":"transcribing","body":{"type":"TextualBody","value":"An unforgettable story that will touch your heart. Is she really a bad teacher? The students she failed say no. But the school board who fired her says yes. A crisis in the classroom or a conflict in the boardroom? Who is really failing America's students? There's got to be a show that finally says, okay, here's something awful. Now can we do something about it? I think we need to expose the people who are taking advantage. And I think the crusaders takes it to another step. We're still journalists, but we get to write what has been done wrong to them. And now from our working Newsroom in Los Angeles, the crusaders with senior reporters Khalil Wall, Howard Thompson, Mark Hyman and William Lajeunesse. Welcome to the Crusaders. Last year in Tampa, Florida, a local diver made an unusual discovery littering the bottom of Tampa Bay, where batteries, batteries like you find in your own car. Not 1 or 2, but hundreds. Many had already broken open. Polluting the bay. The story was first reported by news anchor Bob Height of Crusader affiliate WFLA. Hate stories led to a local cleanup. But we wonder if this happened in Tampa. What about the rest of the country? Could our crusade lead to a nationwide cleanup?","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://marmia.aviaryplatform.com/collections/948/collection_resources/136318/file/252887#t=3189.34,3282.17"}]},{"id":"https://marmia.aviaryplatform.com/collections/948/collection_resources/136318/file/252887/transcript/71104","type":"AnnotationPage","label":{"en":["English [Transcript]"]},"items":[{"id":"https://marmia.aviaryplatform.com/collections/948/collection_resources/136318/file/252887/transcript/71104/annotation/30","type":"Annotation","motivation":"subtitling","body":{"type":"TextualBody","value":"https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/071/104/original/trint_WJZ-EYE-107-006_ffv1_transcript.vtt?1727284066","format":"text/vtt","language":"en"},"target":"https://d9jk7wjtjpu5g.cloudfront.net/file_transcripts/associated_files/000/071/104/original/trint_WJZ-EYE-107-006_ffv1_transcript.vtt?1727284066"}]}]}]}
