And those counties. We talked to Anna Rundle and Carroll County School officials this morning, they say everything is going along right about on schedule. Tomorrow, it's back to school for students in Baltimore City and in the counties of Baltimore, Hartford and Howard. Teachers are already at those schools making the final preparations for tomorrow. Well, as a parent, you should know that your child needs certain shots before he or she can get into school. State law says that all students must be immunized against diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough. Your children should also have shots to protect them from measles and rubella or German measles. Our Eyewitness News medical editor Dr. Murray Caplan, says that you should also get a tuberculosis skin test for your child before getting the measles shots. An oral polio vaccine is definitely recommended. Well, teachers strikes or the threat of walkouts are problems for some of the largest school systems in the country today. At this moment, schools in Boston, Philadelphia, Cleveland and Seattle are dealing with teacher disputes. In New Orleans, where most of the 91,000 students are without teachers today. People are tired of unbridled growth in government. Yesterday they sold over 7000 bagels here and had to close early because they ran out. Most of those bagels were a Gary than Holden creation called pizza bagels. Okay. They got to go behind the table and move out. Hot here. I was able to go. I felt. All right, girls, get them off a little high. And you need only ask around to see why they sell so well. Delicious. Hot and delicious. I've been around to many of the boots, and everybody's having a great time. But you guys get the award for being the happiest bunch of bagel makers. And I tell you, I appreciate being allowed to work here, but the best part about this whole job is getting to. Oh. Good. Let's get back to work. Back to work. But the Russians do. And this. And so that the Russians do. But we're not allowed to. We're only citizens of states. Camp David wasn't always there. And many of the town's older citizens remember back to the time before it was built in 1939 and since 1942, when then President Roosevelt turned it into a presidential retreat. Well, he's been very nice to us tonight, and it's going to continue for at least a year or two. I think we have clear skies. It's quite beautiful out. And let's take a look at those current conditions. Right now, we have 66 degrees. At 17°C, our humidity 70%. And the winds out of the west at six from 230 .04, it's risen a little bit. The air quality today, 32 put us in the fair category and our pollen count today, terrible 519 grains per cubic centimeter. And that's ragweed. A lot of rain out in the west. Quite a bit of southern California. Some flash flood warnings out for Nevada and southern California around the freeways are getting a lot of water here in the east. Fair weather over most of the eastern part of the United States. A little bit of shower activity up in the northern part of the Great Lakes. I think the front, which is way out to the west, will begin to move across our region and we'll probably see some showers or at least maybe a thunder shower at that time. You can watch it just come off the the front fingers of the glove and it drops in for the home run. That makes it A11 tie still in the same inning.
