The investigation continues into a weekend robbery and assault at the General Motors assembly plant storage lot over in southeast Baltimore. Police say one of the suspects is a boy described as being 8 or 9 years old. Police say two security guards at the minivan lot off Albert Avenue were assaulted yesterday morning. Both guards were tied up. One was beaten and stabbed. Police say the boy held a sawed off shotgun while the older man assaulted the man and stole a van from the lot. Police later stopped a van with the license number matching the stolen vehicle. A man, woman and three juveniles were taken into custody. But as far as we know, none of them has been charged. They were only being questioned. The jury of the injured security guard, 51 year old Roger Pearson, is listed in stable condition at Francis Scott Key Medical Center. A Maryland man has been charged in the shooting death of a plastic surgeon at his suburban Chicago office. Police say 34 year old Jonathan Hayes of Rockville, Maryland, used a different last name, made an appointment to see Dr. Martin Sullivan last Friday when Haynes and the doctor went into an examination room, five shots rang out. Officer Gore Will is accused of shooting and killing a 14 year old suspected car thief. It was also a frightening scene in Arlington, Texas, last night as the Seattle Mariners pitcher was hit in the face by a batted ball. And we warn you the following video is not going to be easy to watch. My old. Slump. Over the last three games of. Oh. Diaz is a third man and the pitcher is Brad Holman and he is going to survive. It appears Holman sustained a fractured sinus cavity. He was hit above the bridge of his nose, but was conscious when taken off the field. A Cat scan revealed no serious injury. And again, Route seven is the roadway that is shut down in that area. Heavy fog around the area in the valleys now, especially to the north and west outside the beltway. And also some heavy fog on the upper end of the Jones Falls Expressway building down in towards Cold Spring Lane to allow a little extra time for that. Early yesterday morning, two security guards at the jam lot off Hollywood Avenue were tied up and one was beaten and stabbed. Witnesses tell police a very young boy held a sawed off shotgun while an older accomplice assaulted the guards. The suspect then stole the van. Police later stopped a van fitting the description and questioned the occupants, a man, woman and three children. But no one has been charged as of yet. Security guard Rodger Pierson is in stable condition at Francis Scott Key Medical Center. Questions remain today about what will happen in the manslaughter trial of Baltimore Officer Edward Gore. Will jury deliberations came to a halt on Friday when one of the jurors simply failed to show up. Police found him at home and brought him to court in the afternoon where he spent two hours explaining himself to the judge. A decision on a possible mistrial may be reached later today. Officer Craughwell is accused of shooting and killing a 14 year old suspected car thief. It was a special Sunday night at the Harbor Lights Music Festival as the Godfather of Soul came to town. Yeah what a deal And you know here's I think what makes this interesting because what I was saying earlier there's a lot of paper books down with those newspaper you have a word processor of of education desire. You find an editor. A lot of people can write books. Okay. But what is interesting is that you're local. You did speak with people whom you did speak with, people who who know.
