Tell me about it. Well, as you know, big on my life, basically anything. I had a problem with it, you know, as I got older. And then when you became a teenager, starting out faster. What do you think was the problem? Not a problem. But what do you think was caused you to gain all that weight? I really can't say the reasons why you got. I don't. I don't know. You don't understand it. Right. All of a sudden, you just started putting it on and just happened. So you been able to turn that around and. And now you're a wrestler? Yeah. Tell me about that. How did you ever get interested in professional wrestling? Well, first, yeah, I first saw it on TV, and I was about nine years old. And I said, well, it's funny, you know, I want to do it when I grow up. And then I when I was around 18. I started thinking about it. And then I got the courage out. A few months ago to join the multi factor wrestling school. So you actually are going to school now or you went to school? I'm still a student at the March Factor. So you're you're attending school now to learn to be a wrestler? Yes, sir. And that night was your professional debut? Yes, it was. How did you make out? I won the match. How come you took on two guys? Well, given my size, you know, if I wouldn't have been fair, they got one of them. But there was a small. So you took on both up? Yes, sir. Are you going to keep on being a winner? Yes. I intend to win every match I can. Then you think, And what do you think that'll take, Steve? I mean, you're just starting out now. The competition wasn't as good as it's going to get, right. How are you going to continue to compete with these people who have been around? And I know the sport and they see you coming in brand new, and even though you're a little heavy, they'll say you're going to take this guy on it. How are you going to compete with that? Well, I just continue to work hard during training, learn new maneuvers, try to outsmart the more strange wrestlers. And you're you're now going, what, The Weight Watchers? No, it's it's it's it's called the George Washington University Obesity Clinic. That's your that's our doctor. That's a helicopter flying over it. And that's ruining our interview right now. And you weighed in at how much? 4 pounds. And how long did it take you to get up to snuff, so to speak? I wasn't with regular sized child. I was more, you know, out of the heavy kid. But I you know, it wasn't a problem. Well, when you were up to you were a couple of years old. You. You playing a little drum there? You look like you look like a normal sized child. You weren't having any weight problems then where are you? A little bigger than most kids, but it wasn't a problem. And then when you got to high school, is that an old fashioned and became a little bit of a problem. So what did you do about it, Steve? Well, I tried various weight loss programs and nothing seemed to work. So anyway. When I was about 20 years old, I started going to the program in Washington. The George Washington University of Missouri program. And how much did you weigh that? 4 pounds. Quarter of a ton. Yes. Now, not too long ago, you decided you wanted to be a professional wrestler. You wanted to turn that weight maybe into an asset? Yes. And they call you with it. Besides Big Mac, what are they What do they refer to as well? Here, Steve? Steve. Quarter pound. Fucking. Okay. State. Sorry to put you through this, but let's try it again. Let's just go back a little ways. And when you were in elementary school, you you weren't really having a big weight problem then were, you know, about a big kid. Bigger than what? Most of the kitchen. You live in A mosaic? Yes. I put that in a sentence for me. When you were when you were in in grade school. You weren't a big kid then, were you? Basically, when I was an elementary school, I was bigger than most kids, but it wasn't really a problem to the point where I couldn't do what they were doing. And when did you really started putting the poundage on? It came on a little bit when I was in middle school. Then in high school, I came on a lot. It just started, you know, gaining and you couldn't control it. I tried various programs now that seem to work. You just kept on putting the weight on and. And you say you were you enrolled in the in an obesity school program. What happened there? Well, I was taught is it's a George Washington University obesity program where they say they are you know, where you win every week. And if you're on a certain program, you know, check your check. They'll take your blood once a month and give it EKG. Try to lose as much weight as I can. In the meantime, couple of months ago, you you started attending a wrestling school. Yes, I did. Tell me about that. Well, back in June. I started. I think I don't have enough nerve and courage to to find a wrestling school to attend. And I came across the monster factory. Learned that was close by. So I gave him a call and he's taken and he asked me to come out for a tryout. Well, okay. When the guy saw you walk through the door, what did he say? His first reaction was, you're a big boy. But do you think. Did he think he could do something with you? He had his doubts. But what about how did you feel about it? I thought I could do it. You watched the other guys in there and. Right? Exactly. I watched everybody working out. And I said, I can do that. So you one day you climbed up on that ring. Exactly. So what I could do. And then not too long ago, you had your first your professional debut as as a professional wrestler. How that how that. How are you? How are you feeling when when you walk through the doors and you walked into that room walking through that crowd, what was going through your mind? I was scared to death, actually, because our first wrestling match and I was really just nervous when I got in the ring, I felt quite comfortable. The fans seemed to like you. Did that help? Did that give you any kind of encouragement or anything? I was in the ring. I recognized the fans much. I kept my mind on my opponent. Both up. Both of them. Right now a bit slower and only in the ring. Okay. And you think what is your goal? I mean, how much are you trying to lose? Well, at this point, probably at 60 pounds. Another, what, 60 pounds? Well, even with that, you'll still be Big Mac, right? I mean, it certainly won't be gall to be able to call you a little Mac just because you lost 60 pounds, I guess, That's right. What is your goal in this? In this wrestling? I mean, what where do you want it to take you? Well, as far as I can. I want to be the best wrestler I possibly can be. And you're only 22, right? So where do you think that'll be, Steve? Hopefully to make a promotion for WCW. But mainly right now I want to learn the ropes and wrestle locally just as long as I can, you know, just to learn when I can. And of course, always to be a winner. Exactly. Are you a no again? Well, it certainly in your case. Is it true that the good guys finish last? In this case, good guys finished first. You'll see to that. Right? I'll see to that. Right. All right. That's great. Now, let me ask you this. Let's go back one more time to when you were younger. Okay. Try to give me long sources. All right. Go ahead. You want some to think about this? Going back in so far, Diana? Yeah, right. All right. But just give me long sentences instead of saying exact. You can repeat the question almost, and then just, you know, elaborate on a little bit. Now. 22 years ago.
