She's a cop, you know, she's kind of a maverick cop, you know, and she really doesn't like these people or these drugs, and so she makes an effort, a strong effort to locate as many drug dealers as she can and bust them. She's into saving lives, and I think she's a little bit lonely, you know, and has a nice front, you know, being tough. Non -committed. Oh, I'm kind of a maverick narcotics detective. We don't see very many of the other people in the station house, so we don't know if there's a whole lot of women narcotics detectives, but I am one, who doesn't like people who deal drugs and goes after them. And then the interim meets this man who's in search of self, and she's in search of self, and somehow they kind of get together on this line, in. find one another, and in turn find themselves, in a way. I mean, it's not as heavy as all that, but that is the underlying thing that happens with us. No difference for me. Steven Spielberg knocked that right out. He pointed to the camera the first day we were on the set of CP and said, there are zillions of people in there, but they're mute and you cannot hear them. You cannot hear what they're doing. And so because of that, movies and stage for me is the love of acting. I know that we got together and we did damn good work. We're good in this movie. We had a good time. The movie's fun. If you want to go escape somewhere and you got four to six dollars, go spend it and see this movie because there's lots of fun. It is not Beverly Hills Cup. It ain't Angel Heart. It's something that you may like. You know, I wanted to do this movie because I liked the script and I thought it'd be fun. And then they said, here's Sam Elliott, and I said, great, great, great, because, you know, I'm also a big fan of his. Yeah, well, yeah, not if you knew him, no, he's like, no, he's a great, great person. I mean, he looks real good also, and that's nice. That's nice to think of if you're going to have a first kiss in a movie with a Bye. Why not Sam Elliott, you know? Why not? Some people start out with Lassie. I think I'm a lucky person. He's wonderful, he is wonderful. He's the sweetest, kindest, funniest, gentlest man. He's a great guy, he's a great guy, and very, very smart. There's so much to him that it would befit you to talk to him because he is a whole other entity. Well, she's fun. She likes to, she likes to have good time and I like to think of her as Nick Charles from the Nick and Nora series.
