Or if you're not clear where you are, they are clearing. So we'll say clear to partly cloudy is the description very pleasant, though? Our overnight low bottoming out to say a range of 54 to 60 degrees for Sunday, a mixture of sunny and clouds. A few more of those fair weather cumulus around, maybe a pop up thunderstorm out near the mountains. A warm Sunday off. All in all, though, and then as we get on into Monday, a threat of a shower because of increased humidity. Tuesday looks like it's going to be a downright summery day with a chance of an afternoon shower. And then Wednesday, a front pushes on through, which gives us a real good chance of thunderstorms and then things cool off after that. Right now, it's looking like next weekend is very likely to be a repeat of this and the previous weekend with cooler than normal temperatures to start dry conditions. As long as we stay on a roll like this. I don't think we can expect any complaints from anywhere. But anyway, I got at the ballpark here. Of course, the reason we're here is baseball. Kristy Lee is the one who takes over now. While you said that the wind was blowing out from from home plate out to the outfield. What do you think the prospects are? Judy, the eyes of the world will shift from ceremonies in southern England to Normandy tomorrow as thousands get ready to commemorate D-Day. Now, if only the weather will cooperate. In her speech, Queen Elizabeth asked world leaders to protect the peace. D-Day veterans fought so hard to win. You see, it's really depressing when you work on Saturday. Some days like this, let me tell you, there's a lot of sadness in kind of a peculiar perspective around the newsroom. But really, I mean, I hope you did have today off because it was a gorgeous day to be outside. We, of course, were working, but I was outside a fair amount at the ball game. Yeah. Part of the fringe benefits of my job anyway, I guess 70 degrees is what we're showing here right now on TV Hill. A little bit cooler down lower Eastern Shore actually get ready to fall into the 50s as it has done on the beach in Ocean City right now. That sandy soil cools off a bit quicker than all the more rich soil, shall we say, in the central part of the state. What we have seen over the last couple of days, though, is a weather pattern. We'll look at the satellite view of today and as it pulls through, what we have seen is a persistent domination of the weather pattern by a high pressure ridge. Whenever you have this happen, these high pressure systems tend to be very broad. And when you get a nice, big, strong ridge like this, it persists for some number of days, as it has with us this high now in control, but extends all the way up along a ridge, as we would call it, to highs connected together all the way up into New England. And what that has meant for us, no surprise about it. So we expect to stay in this weather pattern for another at least 36 hours. On the back side of the high, some warmer temperatures will be filtering in. We'll start to see something of a change Monday when you start to feel the humidity a little bit more. And also, of course, with that humidity, we'll see some higher temperatures with the warmer air, but we'll also run a greater prospect of thunderstorms starting on Monday. There's an outside chance someone tomorrow might see a pop up thunderstorm, mostly out in the western part of the state because we will be a little bit warmer tomorrow and a slight tad more humid tomorrow. I don't think that we'll see thunderstorms in the central part of the state and less likely over on the eastern shore. Sort of a summary kind of situation developing if your plan takes you out on the bay tomorrow and a lot of people are going to be doing that, look for southeast breeze, 5 to 15 knots, one foot chop bay water temperature in the mid 60s. And because the actual background wind won't be all that great if you're out on the water, onshore winds, a bay breeze is likely to develop in most places late in the afternoon when a temperature difference tween water and land is the greatest for down the beach.
