And so anything that would be positive for Ollie North would make the congressional committee look bad. But I think they're closing remarks. Hamilton's remark, I think Lou Stokes remark. I think a number of the Congress congressional remarks went right to the issue in regard to whether you can develop that kind of a secret government outside of the people's right to know. I don't know. And I find some buffoons. I don't think so. They look like buffoons. And that's why North is so popular today, not because of what he said, but the way he said it and the way that he was able to take these politicians that are only interested, that have their media consultants there to snap pictures of them while they give their little speeches and go out north. Okay, That's they look like a bunch of buffoons. And because North did put them down, he's popular. I don't believe that in any situation of this kind, when the public, as I said in my opening remarks, does not understand the difference between a court of law and a congressional hearing. And a congressional hearing is there to give people the opportunity to know how in a democracy, how their government works at all. Ollie North And it is to legislate as a result of what they hear. And Ollie North showed himself up to a number of people as a zealot, as a as a loose cannon, and which Poindexter, Poindexter remarked, didn't look like a loser when he came out. But that is the reality of dealing in the international world of intrigue. But the point of covert action in a democracy is that there have to be some checks and balances. There is a committee of eight people who are charged with this from the Congress. There is also this finding that the president must sign in in regard to any kind of action that will protect him and the Congress and the people from going into things that are of this ilk. And the committee has never really gotten down to the basic issues of what they were supposed to investigate. What I think that was because you had a great deal of publicity prior to this in regard to Ollie North in a very negative way. And so anything that would be positive for Ollie North would make the congressional committee look bad. But I think they're closing remarks. Hamilton's remark, I think Lou Stokes remark. I think a number of the Congress congressional remarks went right to the issue in regard to whether you can develop that kind of a secret government outside of the people's right to know. I don't know. And I find some buffoons. I don't think so. They look like buffoons. And that's why North is so popular today, not because of what he said, but the way he said it and the way that he was able to take these politicians that are only interested, that have their media consultants there to snap pictures of them while they give their little speeches and go out north. Okay, That's they look like a bunch of buffoons. And because North did put them down, he's popular. I don't believe that in any situation of this kind, when the public, as I said in my opening remarks, does not understand the difference between a court of law and a congressional hearing. And a congressional hearing is there to give people the opportunity to know how in a democracy, how their government works at all. Ollie North And it is to legislate as a result of what they hear. And Ollie North showed himself up to a number of people as a zealot, as a as a loose cannon, and which Poindexter, Poindexter remarked, didn't look like a loser when he came out. Remark No, because of the fact that he was very arrogant about what it was his idea to do this, his idea to do that. And it had everything mannerly by his superiors. Yes, but they have refuted this on many occasions. And I thought that he Poindexter agreed with him. I hold on. I know that Oliver North is is really a loose cannon.
