The man who tried to rob parishioners at a northeast Baltimore church and a city man is in jail tonight after trying to steal a woman's purse at the church in the 1900 block of East 30th Street, just after 330 this afternoon. It happened at the greater Faith Hope Tabernacle. Bishop Millard Cox says his parishioners had sat down to a Sunday meal when the Would-Be robbers showed up. But he came in. We were all sitting downstairs eating. He asked for some money. We didn't give him any money. He tried to rob. He snatched the ladies pocketbook. He tried to get out. He run, he ran. He could not get out the door. We caught him at the top of the steps. We apprehended him, brought him back down to the steps. He fought the deacon, subdued him. We held him down. Call 911. And the police came and got him and arrested him. Bishop Cox says the church has helped the suspect in the past. He's been here several times and. I guess he just thought we were a pushover. But we are not a pushover. We invite us to, we fight, the devil, and we fight the devil's people. Police will not released the suspect's name until he sees a bail commissioner in the morning. And when it did tip over, Dustin Cooksey and his four year old running companion, Richard Bosley fell out of their bed. And did it sting? Us. What happened? Oh, yeah. It hurt my head. Bad. And was up high and started down descending, and it just flipped over and fell right out. A pin came out. And, we don't know why it came out. The Maryland inspector couldn't find out why it came out. I wouldn't go on it. That's my husband. He was in. It was on. It was on here. You can't get soccer. You can't do it. Hey, so this last week of summer for some of us, we're looking forward to it. Some trepidation because of what's ahead. But let me show you temperatures right now as you start off this Monday morning. Already. It's a 12:01 as we speak. 76 degrees is what our thermometer shows here. Everybody below, 80 degrees right now. In fact, right down on the beach, just about ready to drop into the 60s at Ocean City. Now, we talk about some changes in store for us in the weather. And, those changes are showing up somewhere along here. There it is. Our national radar map shows a large band of, showers and thunderstorms extending all the way from Maine down into all the western extent of Kentucky, the southern tip of Indiana and Illinois. And what that is, is the frontal system that we showed you with the tornadoes that were triggered, particularly in, Wisconsin. Now, this is a push of drier air coming down into the East Coast region. Warm, humid air being pumped in by the high will be displaced eventually by the cool, dry air behind the front. When we get to the five day forecast, you'll see some highs in the 70s in the foreseeable future for tomorrow. A little cooler than today. Today our high downtown is 93 degrees. Airport got to 90 for the high tomorrow. Oh, into the mid 80s. For the most part, even warm down at the ocean. If those winds do get up over 20 knots, look for another small craft advisory tomorrow. 1 to 2 foot chop in the bay. Water temperature around 78 degrees. If this is your week to be down at the ocean as the summer slips away, it looks like tomorrow is going to be more cloudy than sunny. I think eventually you may see a little bit of sunshine later in the day. Maybe an early morning shower, high temperature on the beach, a warm 87 degrees surf temperature these days, right?
