I was determined that the system was not going to destroy me, but I would do something to change it. The problem was I had not grasped all of the things that we had to do to make the change. And so she was selling ice cream on the side. And I was going somebody else. And I came out early in the day and met her and then came back with my mother and my main girlfriend of the moment. And I always tell this little story that my wife kept running into me with the ice cream wagon, you know, bumping up against me and ringing the bell.
